Volcano is the coming out of hot lava, gases and volcanic ash from the inside of earth by breaking the earth’s crust. Volcanoes occur because the earth’s crust is broken to 17 strong tectonic plates which are floating in the hot magma chamber underneath. The volcanoes occur in those weak spots where those tectonic plates converge or diverge. Most of the volcanoes occur in the water as 71% of earth is covered with water. In this article we will be discussing about five such country which are at highest risk of volcanic eruption.

Volcanoes causes a lot of damage. It makes the nearby environment unsafe for living. The volcanic ash and gases pollute the environment. The volcanic ash becomes a threat to aircraft in which the ashes might get inside the engines and melt and can affect the operation of the aircraft. Volcano can stay in dormant position for millions of years and then become active. The volcanic eruption emits various gases such as Carbon dioxide, Sulfur dioxide, Hydrogen Fluoride, Hydrogen chloride, Hydrogen sulfide and many other gases. These gases get mixed up in the atmosphere which causes acidic rain.
