These people have extremely abnormal height for a human being. These people are also called dwarf. People whose height is lesser than 4 ft are regarded as suffering from dwarfism. The reason for their dwarfism lies in hormonal and metabolic disorders which includes growth hormone deficiency. Dwarfism are of two types which are proportionate dwarfism and another is disproportionate dwarfism. In proportionate dwarfism the body parts grow in proportion and in disproportionate dwarfism the body parts do not grow in the same ratio. Dwarfism can be triggered by any among the more than 200 conditions that human has discovered so far. The most common type of dwarfism is called skeletal dysplasias which is a genetic bone disorder. It is followed by abnormal bone growth which causes disproportionate dwarfism.

He suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta in which normal growth of bone is hindered and is a genetic bone disorder.
4. Khagendra Thapa Magar
Khagendra Thapa Magar is the fourth shortest men in the world. He is from Nepal, the land of Himalayas. He has the shortest height of 67 cm which is 26 inches ( 2 ft 2 inches) as verified by Guinness World Records. He was the shortest man in the world until the year 2011. And at 2011 he became the world’s shortest mobile man as he can move with ease. He was born on 4th October, 1992 AD in Baglung district of Nepal. He works as an actor for different films. He was only 600 grams when he was born and now weighs only 6.5 kilograms.
3. Junrey Balawing
Junrey Balawing is the third shortest men in the world. He is from Philippines. He has the shortest height of 59.9 cm which is 23.6 inches ( 1 ft 11.59 inches) as verified by Guinness World Records in 2012. He is the shortest living man in the world right now after Chandra Bahadur Dangi’s death. He was born in June 12, 1993 AD. He was born in Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines. Balawing stopped growing after the age of one. He is the son of a poor blacksmith.
2. Gul Mohammed
Gul Mohammed is the second shortest men in the world. He is from India. He has the shortest height of 57 cm which is 22.4 inches ( 1 ft 8.6 inches) as verified by Guinness World Records. He was the shortest man in the world until the year 2012 since 1991, where he lost his title to Chandra Bahadur Dangi from his neighboring country Nepal. He was born in February 15,1957 AD and died in October 1, 1997 AD at the age of 40. He died because of respiratory problems. He was suffering from asthma and bronchitis for a long time.

Chandra Bahadur Dangi is the shortest men in the world who ever lived in the history. He is from the Nepal. He has the shortest height of 54.6 cm which is 21.5 inches ( 2 ft 2.58 inches) as verified by Guinness World Records. He is the shortest man in the world declared in the year 2012 and took the title from Gul Mohammed who held the title for 21 long years. He was born on 30th November, 1939 AD in Salyan district of Nepal and died on 3rd September at the age of 75 in Pago Pago, American Samoa. He was a craftsman and a farmer by occupation. He weighed only 15 kilograms.
