The trailer of the much-awaited Bollywood film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai was released on Saturday, giving fans a fun-filled glimpse into a colorful world of romance, confusion, and comedy.
Directed by veteran filmmaker David Dhawan, the movie stars Varun Dhawan in a lively role that promises plenty of laughter and entertainment. The film also features Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in lead roles.
Originally scheduled to release on April 10, 2026, the film will now hit theatres on June 5, 2026.
Produced by Ramesh Taurani and directed by David Dhawan, the film promises a complete Bollywood entertainer packed with romance, family drama, confusion, and signature comic timing. The trailer showcases vibrant visuals, quirky situations, and energetic performances with a modern twist on classic Bollywood storytelling.
Interestingly, the movie’s title is inspired by the famous song “Ishq Sona Hai” from the 1999 hit film Biwi No. 1, which starred Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Sushmita Sen.
Apart from the lead cast, the movie also features an impressive ensemble including Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Chunky Pandey, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar in important roles.
Varun Dhawan was last seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The romantic comedy also starred Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf, and revolved around two former lovers rediscovering love and friendship in Delhi.
With David Dhawan’s trademark humor and Varun Dhawan’s energetic screen presence, “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai” is expected to be one of the biggest family entertainers of 2026.
